SoCom Consulting is delighted to receive news of our client, Holicare, being confirmed as an Approved Aged Care Provider, for both Home Care and Flexible Care (including Short Term Restorative Care (STRC).
Following a short and smooth process to assist Holicare to become an approved provider of DVA Community Nursing services, SoCom Consulting was requested to further assist with the organisation’s Aged Care Provider Application.
While SoCom Consulting did not advise on Holicare’s initial application, we have spent the past 6 months working with this client and the Commission to respond to requests for additional information. Works included a substantial review of Holicare’s initial application, advice on actions required to be compliant with the Act (including progressive changes made in response to the Aged Care Royal Commission), provision of a suite of compliant policies and procedures and development of sound Business Plans and financial projections.
This process has demonstrated the importance of working with an experienced team from the outset of new provider applications, particularly under new arrangements requiring applications to pay substantial application fees.
