My Care Ability has today received advice that their aged care provider application has been approved, delivering two wins in one day for the SoCom Consulting team.

In a notification from the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, My Care Ability have been confirmed as a provider of services in the home and community under the Home Care Package programme.

My Care Ability is an already registered NDIS provider, delivering a comprehensive range of services, including personal care, nursing services, meal preparation, cleaning and maintenance, social support, community access, and transportation.

The team is also experienced in delivering aged care services as a trusted brokerage partner to Trilogy Care.

My Care Ability looks forward to delivering their aged care and disability services across Sydney’s South East, West and Inner West, as well as the Southern Coast of NSW, Melbourne, and Tasmania.

In addition to coordinating the application process, SoCom Consulting provided advice on organisation and team structuring, business planning, financial forecasting, and the response to a Request for Information from the Commission, ultimately resulting in the receipt of provider approval in October 2024.

“The aged care provider application process is lengthy and detailed, but the team at My Care Ability stuck it out and got the win. We look forward to watching this next chapter of their business unfold”, said SoCom Consulting’s CEO, Kathryn Garth.

SoCom Consulting advises on NDIS and Aged Care Provider applications, policies and procedures, compliance and strategic business development.
